Questions & answers
What counts as one rewrite?
One click on Rewrite counts as one usage attempt, even if we try multiple internal strategies to improve it. Validation, sign-in, payment, and server errors are not counted.
What happens when a pack runs out?
You can buy another pack or move to Pro/API. One-time packs do not auto-charge when they run out.
Do packs expire?
Yes. One-time packs are valid for 90 days from purchase. Pro/API rewrites reset each monthly period and do not roll over.
Can I cancel Pro/API?
Yes, anytime through the Stripe billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. A trial code unlocks 3 rewrites with no card. Don't have a code? Start with a Quick Pack, or contact us at info@timeawake.co.nz.
Is my content private?
Your rewrites are saved to your account on our servers and retained for up to 90 days, then removed. You can delete individual rewrites or your entire account at any time. Avoid pasting passwords, payment details, or highly sensitive personal data.
Can I use the API with a one-time pack?
No. REST API and MCP access require an active Pro/API subscription. One-time packs cover web rewrites only.
What is MCP? Can I use it inside Claude or Cursor?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI tools like Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Cursor call the rewrite engine directly. Pro/API subscribers get one API key that works for both REST calls and MCP connections. See the Developers page for setup guides.
What currency is this, and is tax included?
Prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$). Stripe applies any required tax at checkout.
Can I get a refund?
Reach out at info@timeawake.co.nz and we'll work toward a reasonable resolution. Refund decisions depend on the situation, so we do not promise automatic refunds.
